03:48 pm: I'm still alive
In case you all think I've fallen off the earth, I'm still here in hot and humid florida. If I haven't said this enough, I'm horrible about updating this. I could try to update this thing since the last time I wrote anything but that would be 3 months worth of updating. So instead you'll just get the highlights...lets see, well right now I'm getting over either the stomach flu or food poisoning from this weekend...I made it through the big race (Indy 500) and a bbq over at Hillary's house where I talked to this cute boy Jon the entire night, but when I got home I started getting sick...not fun at all, though I did lose 5 pounds on the all Jello diet. Not bad for three days sickness...I don't think I'll do it again.
I'm also looking to get my plane tickets so I can go up to Minnesota to visit my cousin Andi and hit the Chris Isaak concert with her in August. It's going to be great. Then I'm flying straight home for a week. I'll actually be off of work for 2 1/2 weeks because right before this I'm going to DC for a training class in cost estimating (doesn't that sound exciting!)
This weekend, we're having a party at the local minor league team's game (never again will I plan anything, a big pain). Other than that nothing much is going on.
At work, I've become the corrosion control go to person lately, which is kinda scary. Are people that easily fooled to believe that I'm an expert in it? I'm not even close, I just know who to call. Oh and Discovery rolled out to pad B for a launch July 1st. Other than that I'm looking into getting another masters in either project management or construction management, though this probably will never happen.
Nothing else is going on, just working my way through all the episodes of the Office that I've DVR'd and laughing my ass off...I can't wait till season 2 is on DVD so I can get them off...they're filling it up...

Oh and Chrissy, can you email me your address again, i can't find it anywhere...

Michael Scott: I enjoy having breakfast in bed. I like waking up to the smell of bacon, sue me. And since I don't have a butler, I have to do it myself. So, most nights before I go to bed, I will lay six strips of bacon out on my George Foreman grill. Then I go to sleep. When I wake up, I plug in the grill. I go back to sleep again. Then I wake up to the smell of crackling bacon. It is delicious, it's good for me, it's the perfect way to start the day.
